Claudia Gaunt (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Claudia Gaunt of Strafford was born in Long Lane, Mo on May 25, 1924 to Claude and Rupta Letha (Bassinger) Bennett and passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in the Strafford Care Center at the age of 96.
Claudia was raised in Long lane, Missouri and went to graduated from Buffalo High School. She was a member of The Church of Christ and was an office Manager at Empire Electric before retiring. She liked sewing and crouching.
Claudia is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Gaunt; two sons: Larry and Derry Gaunt. She is survived by one son: Donald Gaunt and wife Gail of Strafford, Missouri and one daughter: Christina Hug of Jefferson City, Missouri; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
