Cleo Eagon's Obituary
Mr. Cleo Allen Eagon, age 91, of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Friday morning, September 30, 2011 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born July 8, 1920 in Rock Prairie, Missouri to George Eagon and Stella Ethel (Potter) Eagon.
Cleo was a farmer and served in the United States Army during World War II. He attended the Fundamental Baptist Church in Pleasant Hope, Missouri.
Surviving is his son Warren and wife Lynn of Halfway, MO. Also his grandson, Darren Lee Eagon of Halfway, MO.
Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 2, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Butler Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Merritt officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Prairie Cemetery near Pleasant Hope under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar
Military Honors will be provided by the AMVETS Post # 114 at Flemington, MO and the U. S. Army Honors Team.
