Wilma and family, I am so privileged to have been neighbors and friends with you and Clifford. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. May God give you comfort in the coming days.
I'm thrilled to see that the family has suggested The Gideons for donations. As a little kid working for Dad (Bob Klug) at Western Auto, I never had spiritual conversations with Clifford. Several years later I accepted Christ as my personal Savior, and many years after that my young husband spoke for the Gideons at a Sunday morning church service. Little did we know that a few hours later he would die in a car wreck on icy roads. . . How comforting to know that he is in heaven because of his faith in Jesus, And because of my own faith, I will join him one day. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the LIfe. NO ONE comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
Clifford worked for many years for my dad, Bob Klug, at the Western Auto store. I remember often asking him where to find something, e.g. bolts, and he would always say, "In the Bolt Department," and take me to find them! When I walk into a store today, I will usually ask, e.g. "Where's the Bolt Department?"
Wilma and family, You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Clifford will be missed by many. hugs and prayers, Deb Smith Murrell
