Clifford Kelly's Obituary
Clifford Raymond Kelly, age 83, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Sunday morning, March 21, 2010 at Citizen’s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri after a lengthy illness. He was born February 4, 1927 in Pawnee, Nebraska to James Greg Kelly and Mabel Mae (Edwards) Kelly. He served his country during World War II serving in the United States Army. He married Mary Kathryn Eagleburger on October 21, 1951 in Bolivar, Missouri. Clifford was a farmer most of his life and lived in Polk County for over 59 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Mabel Kelly, his two sisters, Lucille Poyner, Norma McNeese, two brothers, Kenneth Kelly and Dean Kelly, and brother-in-law, Dennis Eagleburger. Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary K. Kelly of Nixa, Missouri, his daughter, Trudie Kay Kelly of Nixa, Missouri, James Bruce Kelly of DeWitt, Nebraska, a sister, Florence Brown of Marshfield, Missouri, a grandson, Christopher Kelly of Springfield, Missouri, his extended family, Charles & Gloria Eagleburger of Pleasant Hills, Missouri, Bill Eagleburger of Kansas City, Missouri, Larry & Betty Eagleburger of Branson, Missouri, Max & Joetta Eagleburger of Elkland, Missouri, Lloyd & Rebecca Eagleburger of Springfield, Missouri, Don & Glenda Eagleburger of Fair Grove, Missouri, Dean & Donnell Eagleburger of Verndale, Washington, Sue & Ruby Mallard of Fair Grove, Missouri, Shirley & Bill Farrell of Fair Grove, Missouri, Zella Ramey of Fair Grove, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Bro. Kevin Patterson and Bro. Courtney Henderson officiating. Musical selection will be “Old Rugged Cross” and “It Is Well With My Soul” by the Church of Christ Choir and “Stroll Over Heaven With You” by Alan Jackson. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Randy Ankrom, Larry Eagleburger, Shannon Kelly, Dwight Kibby, Mark Poyner and Earl Spiegel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N.
