Clova Jean Judy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Clova Jean Judy, daughter of Clifford S. and Esther M. Delaney Lappin, was born August 31, 1946, in Danville, Illinois. She departed this life Sunday, January 31, 2021, in Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years, and five months.
On June 26, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gerald R. Judy, and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; a daughter-in-law, Melissa A. Judy; two brothers, Alonzo R. and Herbert P. Lappin; and two sisters, Jackie Lappin-Chrostowski, and Debbie Hawkins.
Clova is survived by two sons, Eric Judy, and his wife, Susan, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Shane Judy, and his fiancé, Katrina Chablé and her son, Kanyon Chable, of Niangua, Missouri; five grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb, Josh, and his wife, Devon, Sage, and Sierra; two great-grandchildren, Gryffin and Marley; three brothers, Clifford Lappin, and his wife, Sandy, of Hegeler, Illinois, Hubert Lappin, and his wife, Rose, of the State of Florida, and James Lappin, and his wife, Debbie, of Danville, Illinois; seven sisters, Nancy Cornett, and her husband, Coy, of Tilton, Illinois, Linda Claypool, of Tilton, Illinois, Ruth Terranova, and her husband, Frank, of the State of North Carolina, Kathy Hart, and her husband, Darrell, of Lebanon, Missouri, Cindy Watkins, of Tilton, Illinois, Susan Lowe, and her husband, Delbert, of Collison, Illinois, and Karen Lappin, of Tilton, Illinois; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Clova was a devoted homemaker to her family throughout the years.
Clova had a lot of Christian friends, and her heart was full of the sounds of gospel music.
She loved flowers, hunting for mushrooms, and taking care of her yard. She greatly enjoyed her fur babies, “Sassy”, “Taz”, and “Precious”. She loved her family dearly and greatly enjoyed being surrounded by her family.
Clova was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Graveside services will be Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery near Long Lane, Missouri with Rev. Shane Shockley officiating.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
