Colton James Alverson was born on October 9, 2020, in Sedalia, Missouri, to his devoted father, Steven Alverson, and his loving mother, Sabrina Alverson. He passed away, July 12, 2026 in Mercy’s Children Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Colton lived in Springfield, Missouri, where he brought immense joy and light to everyone around him. His smile and playful spirit had a remarkable way of brightening even the darkest days. Colton enjoyed swimming, jumping on the trampoline, riding his scooter, and embracing the wonders of school. He brought happiness to those he met, always striving to be cute and make others smile.
Colton is survived by his father, Steven Alverson of Springfield, Missouri; his mother, Sabrina Alverson; his siblings, April, Wyatt and Wesley Alverson of Springfield, Missouri; his step-siblings, Scarlett and Kimberly Viether of Springfield, Missouri; his grandmothers, Tina Hoffman of Springfield, Missouri and Margaret Mise of Lebanon, Missouri; his grandfather, Luther Moss of Sedalia, Missouri;
We will forever cherish the precious moments and memories we had with Colton and remember his bright spirit and the joy he brought to our lives. He will be deeply missed, but his laughter and light will forever remain in our hearts.
Services for Colton will be private.
