Conni e's Obituary
Connie Christina Hamby, daughter of Lewis Adrian and Doris Mae Nutter Sherrer, was born July 22, 1963, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, April 17, 2009, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years, eight months, and twenty-five days. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Smokey L. Sherrer. Christina is survived by two daughters, Saundra Hamby, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Holly Clark, of Springfield, Missouri; her mother, Doris Sherrer, of Stoutland, Missouri; two brothers, James Sherrer, and his wife, Maxine, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Daniel Sherrer, and his wife, Kristine, of Waynesville, Missouri; two sisters, Sue Ellen Stradt, and her husband, Brad, of Stoutland, Missouri, and Diane Atwell, and her husband, Dan, of Osage Beach, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; her longtime partner, Randall Hood, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Stoutland, Missouri, and graduated from Stoutland High School. She then made her home in the Lebanon area where in addition to being a devoted homemaker and mother, she worked for the H. D. Lee Company, Copeland Corporation and Marine Electric. Christina attended Sleeper Pentecostal Church during her early childhood years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and caring for her animals. She also liked collecting unicorns of various shapes and sizes. She loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews. Christina was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. Services will be at 7:00 pm on Monday April 20, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon. No visitation is planed under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri.
