Connie Sue Bishop (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Connie Sue Bishop, age 72 of Louisburg, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 in her home. She was born on Christmas day in 1948 (which she did not like at all) to John and Helen Kinslow. She grew up in the Urbana, Missouri area. In high school she started dating her business teacher, Ralph Bishop. He decided to go teach at another school due to them dating. They were married August 14, 1966 after she graduated from Skyline High School.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph and two children, Rhonda (Wendel) Lehr, and John (Quintana) Bishop; five grandkids, Andrew, Ariel, Adriana, Darvi, and Kayl; four great-grandkids; Austin, Willow, Sophie, and Ryker; her brother, Donnie (Nancy) Kinslow and sister Deb (Eldon) Woodyard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Kinslow and her sister, Kathy Cooke.
Mom was always afraid she was a pain in everyone’s side, but all love and words of encouragement that everyone is sending is a testament to how many people she actually has touched in someway or been an inspiration to us all.
One of her favorite versus was in Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a right spirit within me.”
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery near Urbana, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
