Connie Lacy's Obituary
Connie Phyllis Lacy, daughter of Jerry Lee Wright, Sr. and Wanda Elaine (Caudle) Wright was born September 28, 1962 in Arro Grande, California. She departed this life Thursday, November 12, 2009 in her home in Seymour, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, one month, and fourteen days.
On August 14, 1987 she was united in marriage to Jeffery Lynn Lacy and to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Regina Walker; and a niece, Ilene Arlene Walker.
Connie is survived by her husband, Jeffery, of the home; her children, Gary Lacy and Christina Lacy, of the home; her mother and step-father, Wanda and Gary Cuatt, of Seymour, Missouri; her father, Jerry Lee Wright, Sr., of Miller, Missouri; three brothers, Jerry Lee Wright, Jr., of Mount Vernon, Missouri, Randy Wayne Wright and Andrew Vernon Cuatt, both of Seymour, Missouri; two nephews, Tyler Walker and Stevie Workman; two nieces, Sarah Walker and Katrina Workman; as well as other relatives and many friends.
She was born in California and moved to the Seymour area in the 1970’s for several years and after her marriage to Jeff, they moved back to California before moving back to Seymour three years ago. Connie was a Certified Nurse Assistant and had worked at Crestview Nursing Home in Ava and Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour. She had also worked as a desk clerk for the Seymour Country Inn Motel.
In her spare time she liked doing ceramics and crocheting. She loved her family very much and enjoyed the time they spent together.
Connie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish all the memories she created for her family and friends.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Holman-Howe Chapel, Seymour, Missouri. There will be no formal services at this time.
