Conrad Ruhr (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Conrad Francis Ruhr, son of Conrad Francis, Sr. and Mary Anna Barrett Ruhr, was born, October 27, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life, Sunday, July 6, 2014, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years, eight months and nine days.
On February 19, 1965 in Waterloo, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Annabell Lillian LeBold. Together they shared forty-nine years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Ruhr of the home; a brother-in-law, Jack Robert LeBold of Marlborough, Massachusetts; ten nieces and nephews, Susan Tucker of Manhattan, Kansas, Mary Julia Lewis of St. Peters, Missouri, Jeanette Marie Scott of St. Peters, Missouri, Daborah Ann Simms of St. Louis, Missouri, Jack Robert Lebold, Jr., Ronald LeBold and Carol Ann LeBold all of Marlborough, Massachusetts, James Edward LeBold and Cheryl Ann Beauchamp both of Troy, Missouri and Gail Lowe of St. Charles, Missouri and a host of friends.
Connie attended school in St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pine lawn, Missouri and Normandy High School in Normandy, Missouri. He worked for Graham Plumbing and Heating in Richmond Heights, Missouri and later owned and operated Ruhr Plumbing and Repairs in Camdenton, Missouri.
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Camdenton.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing.
He was a loving husband, brother-in-law and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
