Corinne Rockdale (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Corinne Evelyn Rockdale 91, of Elkland, MO, daughter of John James Fruit Lang and Eva LaSalle Rice, went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, November 23, 2021 after passing away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 15, 1930 in Irwin PA.
Boots spent most of her working years as a registered nurse and retired as such. After moving to Missouri she joined the Foster Grandparent program as a volunteer with Dallas County school district for 20 years. Boots loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed working in her garden, being outdoors, and working cattle with her husband. Her favorite past time was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband "Rocky" Roy L. Rockdale, her parents, sister, and brother.
She is survived by her son William K. Martin and his wife Christine of California, son James A. Martin and his wife Katherine of Washington, son Michael G. Martin of Nevada, daughter Patricia A. Pilkington and her husband Michael V. Pilkington of the home, and daughter Debra J. Hunt and her husband Terry Hunt; her grandchildren, Heather Lane and her husband Eric Lane, Travis Cornelia and his wife Micayla, Seth Pilkington, Jonathan Martin and wife Elizabeth, Aaron Martin and wife Jessica, Mathew Martin, Christian and Collin Martin, Kiel, Brooklyn, and Aiden Martin, Angel R. Martin, and Amber Boshears; great-grandchildren, Madison, Grace, and Evelyn Lane, Brennen, Aliyah, and Savannah Cornelia, A.J. Martin and wife Maria, Scott and Taylor Martin, Kylie and Cody Martin, Caitlyn, Caylee, and Carley Cardoza. and two great-great-grandchildren, Dominic Martin and Bryston Cardoza.
Join us for a celebration of life Saturday Dec. 4, 2021 at 10:00 at Pisgah Baptist Church, Long Lane, MO.
Cremation rites are being accorded by Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri.
