Corrine Mae Allen (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Corrine Mae Tindle Allen. 86 of Bolivar, passed away at 6:05 a.m. on Sunday September 4, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2016. Corrine was a member of Sacred Heart Church; services will be conducted by Father Pat Wiseman. Corrine was born December 3, 1929 in Tulsa, OK to Carl Andrew Tindle and Opal Littlejohn Tindle. She worked as a Librarian for several years, she also worked for the local telephone company and oil company. As a hobby she made stained glass and sold candles out of her workshop in her home. Later on in life she sold Tiara and worked at Walmart serving samples. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting new customers and their families. She was married on her 72nd birthday to Gene Allen on December 3, 2002 in Eureka Springs, AR. Corrine was proceeded in death by her beloved brothers, Jim Tindle and Jerry Tindle. Corrine is survived by her husband Gene Allen, her two sisters, Ginger Cantrell and Mary Sue Shelton. Other survivors include her children, Diana Kirkpatrick, Portsmouth, NH, Donna Rustin, Springfield, MO, Bruce Rustin, Brookline, MO, April Fisher, Springfield, MO and her step-daugher Gail Allen, Rogersville, MO. Her grandchildren, Rachel Slagle, Eva Slagle, Emily Kirkpatrick, Amy Andrews, Erica McFadden, Tyler Thompson, Kielee Farnam, Paden Allen; great-grand-children, Noah, Madeline, McCoy, Lilly and Violet Oliva; and one great-great-grandchild Zoe, and numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Corrine will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
