Coy J. Evans (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Coy Joe Aldine Evans, son of Monta J. and Mildred M. Sanders Evans, was born June 26, 1940, in Phoenix, Arizona. He departed this life Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, seven months, and nine days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ricky Evans, and Anthony J. Evans; a brother, Tommy Evans; and a sister, Louise Oliver.
Coy is survived by a daughter, Vicky Reeves, and her husband, Lou, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Evans, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Mike Evans, Eddie Evans, both of the State of Arizona, and Robin Evans, of the State of Alabama; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Arizona and then continued to make his home there for many years before moving to Missouri. He was employed by Central Steel Fabrications and worked in garage door installation.
He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were camping, hunting, and fishing. He also liked to travel. His family was important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Coy was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the memories he made for them during his seventy-nine years.
All services will be private and there is a memorial established for Claws and Paws and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
