Cynthia L. Curtner (Hartville)'s Obituary
.Cynthia Lynne “Cindy” Curtner, daughter of Albert Joseph Locatelli and Mary Mendel Williams Wilson, was born January 16, 1959 in Santa Cruz, California. She departed this life Thursday, May 21, 2015 in her home, near Hartville, Missouri. She was fifty-six years old.
On July 26, 1991, Cindy was united in marriage to John Curtner and together they shared twenty-three years of marriage until John’s passing on August 18, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her father; and step-father, Roy Wilson.
Cindy is survived by her children, Jeffrey Hunter and wife Patricia of Grovespring, Missouri, Alisha Locatelli of Springfield, Missouri, Christopher Curtner and Jamie Crider of Thayer, Missouri, and Eric Curtner and wife Katherine of Hartville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Mari, Meriyah, Maleeka, and Marcus Hunter, Lukas Curtner and Amaya Curtner; her mother, Mary Wilson of Hartville, Missouri; brothers, John Wilson and wife Pam of Hartville, Missouri, Mike Wilson and wife Brandy of Lebanon, Missouri, and David Locatelli and wife Julia of Santa Cruz, California; two sisters, Lisa Harrell and Carol of Florida, and Kathy Wilson of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Cindy spent her younger years living in California and moved to Hartville in the mid 1980’s. She owned and operated Cindy’s Sweet Dreams Floral in Hartville for a number of years. She was also active in the Girl Scouts when Alisha was a child.
She had been baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when she was a child.
In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed fishing, quilting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
