Cynthia Jane Vest (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Cynthia “Jane” Vest, daughter of Kenneth Vest and Patricia Kay (Adams) Watson, was born on November 25, 1962 in Springfield, MO, and departed this life on June 18, 2018 at her home in Fordland, MO. At the time of her passing she was 55 years old.
Jane was raised in Battlefield, MO and graduated from Republic High School. She later graduated from Cox Nursing School in 1998 and went to work for Doctors Hospital before beginning her career as a Registered Nurse at Cox Hospital in 2003. The love, care, and compassion she exuded for her patients was without comparison. Jane enjoyed country living, walks with her dog Buddy, riding horses, taking pictures, and mentoring adolescent girls in running and life experiences with Girls on the Run. She was an involved and active member of the Hearts Hope Chapel and loved serving in a missions trip to Honduras.
Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Kay (Adams) Watson, aunt, Patsy Meadors, and uncle, Jack Freeman. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Kenneth & Judith Vest of Lebanon, MO; six siblings, Deanna Reed, Kimberly Kay Vest, Kevin Dale Vest, John Mark Bergerson, James Michael Vest, and Matthew Aaron Vest; her aunt, Wanda Freeman, and her uncle, Bob Triplett. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and many friends who will all truly miss her.
