D'Etta Lynn Doublin (Lebanon)'s Obituary
D’Etta Lynn Doublin was born in Modesto, California on May 24, 1954 to Troy Thacker and Shirley Mansell. She went to her eternal home on Saturday evening, August 19, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. At the time of her passing, D’Etta was sixty-nine years, two months and twenty-six days.
She grew up in California and completed her schooling there. From 1985 – 2011, D’Etta was employed as an Administrator for Addus Home Health Care. She then worked her way up the ranks, going to Arkansas to oversee the operation there. In 2020, D’Etta moved to Missouri and it was during her time there she met and married Frankie Doublin, the love of her life. They were united in marriage on February 11, 2023.
D’Etta was a Christian woman and attended Sunnyview Church. She always had a smile on her face and liked helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Rita; and a step-son, Corey Doublin.
D’Etta is survived by her loving husband, Frankie, of Conway, Missouri; one daughter, Melissa Palamatier and her husband, Tony Green of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Jimmy Thacker of Rogers, Arkansas; and her three precious grandchildren, Kasen, Tayla and Temprynce.
She enjoyed shopping, cooking and gardening. She also had a fondness for animals. Above all she loved her family and her grandchildren. She looked forward to special occasions, holidays, family get-togethers, any time the family could be together. D’Etta valued the time spent with her grandchildren. They brought her so much joy and she enjoyed watching them grow and develop their own, unique personalities.
D’Etta was a straight shooter and was always willing to share her opinion. She was a kind and caring woman and had a big heart. She will leave a legacy of love, courage and devotion to her family and a wealth of stories that will be shared for years to come.
A memorial to Claw’s and Paws has been established and memorials may be made through the funeral home.
