Dan Sylvester Heimbeaugh, son of Charles Floyd “Sonny” and Martha Elizabeth Burns Heimbeaugh, was born May 19, 1965 in Camden County, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, March 20, 2008 near Camdenton, Missouri at the age of forty-two years, ten months and one day. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.F. and Lillie Heimbeaugh, and his maternal grandparents, Luther and Leona Burns. Survivors include his parents, Sonny and Martha Heimbeaugh of Camdenton, Missouri; a daughter, Crystal Heimbeaugh of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Travis McGuire of Camdenton, Missouri; his brothers and sisters, Randall Heimbeaugh, Sandy Denny and husband Randy, Larry Heimbeaugh and wife Teresa, and Elizabeth Eidson and husband Dwayne, all of Camdenton, Missouri; his fiancé, Barbara Duncan of Camdenton, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Amanda, John Charles and Angela Win Heimbeaugh, Vanessa Goode, Jason Turner, Nichole Franklin, Samantha Emry, Barbara Heimbeaugh, Amy Wallace, Ashley Bisby, Linda Heimbeaugh, and Tyler and Sarah Eidson; eight great-nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Dan was a life-long resident of Camdenton and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1983. He worked in construction during his working career. He made a profession of faith in Christ in his younger years. He loved the outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed camping trips with his daughter and fiancé. Dan was a loving son, father, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. He touched many lives and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will be in Allee Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
