Daniel L. Harvey (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Daniel L. Harvey was born November 13, 1948 in Wabash, Indiana to Robert and Dortha Harrold Harvey. He departed this life Friday, August 22, 2025 in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was seventy-six years, nine months and nine days of age.
Daniel was raised in Wabash, Indiana and graduated from high school there. He played football while in high school and following graduation, joined the United States Marines. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton before deploying to Vietnam. He was a proud Marine and loved his country very much.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dortha; and two brothers, Richard and James Harvey.
He is survived by three sons, Asa Harvey and his girlfriend Brooklyn Crawford of Lebanon, Missouri, Eli Harvey of Springfield, Missouri, and Zander Harvey of the home in Lebanon, Missouri; two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Rylen; and his sister, Ann Ambler and her husband James of Indiana.
Following his service with the Marine’s, Daniel went to work for General Electric (GE) in Terre Haute, Indiana, and following several years of employment there, he was transferred to Lebanon in the 1990’s.
Daniel was a perfectionist and did a beautiful job of building cabinets. He enjoyed taking care of his yard. He was a very independent man. He loved cooking and going fishing and was quite successful at both.
As we remember Daniel, we celebrate a life marked by an enduring commitment to service to his country and a profound love for his family. Daniel’s memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
