Danny Coffman's Obituary
Danny Ray Coffman, son of Troy and Ella Mae Moss Coffman, was born December 1, 1954 in Mansfield, Missouri. He gave his life to the Lord and departed this life after a long illness on December 8, 2009 at his home in Hartville, at the age of fifty-five years and seven days.
He was preceded in death by his father Troy Dee Coffman on August 6, 2003. Danny is survived by his mother, Ella Mae Coffman of Hartville, Missouri; one brother, Jerry Coffman and wife Darlene of Medford, Minnesota, and their children Rebecca Ann Hensen and husband Brian of Strafford, Missouri and their children Breann Myers, Trent, Brandon and his son, Jaydon; and Roxanne Roper and husband Chris of Hartville, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Pollock and husband Terry of Mansfield, Missouri, their children, Brian Pollock and wife Lindsey, and their son Kylar, and Kinder Ann Wilson and her children Chassity and Chase of Strafford, Missouri; June Hutson and daughter Melissa Ann of Hartville, Missouri; and a very good friend, Debbie Coffman and daughter Katie Dobson, of Springfield, Missouri.
Danny was born and raised in Hartville where he was a graduate of Hartville High School, never missing a day the last nine years of attendance. After school, he went to work at Leggett and Platt in Springfield for several years and later worked at the Durham Manufacturing Company in Lebanon.
Danny lived on a farm near Hartville, where he enjoyed his cows and calves and loved the farm life.
Danny was loved by his uncles, aunts, family, friends and neighbors. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he created for his family and many dear friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 in the Little Creek Baptist Church, north of Hartville, with burial to follow in Little Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday evening in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville.
