Danny Edwards' Obituary
Danny Boy Edwards was born November 18, 1971 in Endicott, NY to proud parents, John “Jack” Edwards and Martha “Jean” Edwards originally of Binghamton, NY, now residing in Hartville, Mo.
On May 5, 2012 Danny Boy called the Drum Corps in Heaven to attention and now leads them with the joy he always shared with us. Danny Boy never met a stranger. He brought a smile to the faces of thousands that he met in his brief but busy life. The joy he got from music and dance he gained from his early years following Drum and Bugle Corps with his parents, brothers, and sister. One of his proudest moments was in meeting Hulk Hogan and sharing a conversation with his favorite wrestler. Never one to miss a celebration, his birthdays were always an event where Dan danced and sang. He was a proud student of the PARC program in Pinellas County, Fl.
Danny is survived by a large extended family that includes an older sister; Debbie and her husband Dan Zelesnikar reside in Hampton, Va. Their children, Paul, his wife Lynn and their daughter Maggie reside in Williamsburg, Va. And Kyle, his wife Ashley and daughters Madison and Halah reside in Houston, Tx. Danny’s brother, David and his wife Sandra reside in Dunedin, Fl. Danny’s brother Dennis and his wife Susan reside in Horseheads, NY, with their three children Renee, Denny, and Mary. Danny’s brother, Doug and his wife Kristin reside in Milford, MA with their three children Jeffrey, Devon, and Connor. Danny’s brother Darryl and his wife Richelle reside in Hartville, MO, with their children Heather and Sean. Their daughter Erin and her daughter Emmiree Jean reside in Marshfield, MO. Danny’s brother, Derek and his wife Debbra reside in Greenwood, MO, with their son Lorenzo. Nephew Brian Lawton and his wife Jen reside in Clearwater, Fl. Niece Amber Lawton resides in Roanoke, Virginia
A visitation was held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home in Binghamton, New York. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics in Danny’s name. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
