Danny Presley (Bolivar) 's Obituary
Danny Presley, age 69, of Brighton, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Maples Health and Rehab, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on October 17, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri, to Gene and Flora (Wallace) Presley.
Danny loved sports, especially basketball, and greatly enjoyed playing golf. His favorite sport to watch was whatever his grandchildren were playing. He was a gentle giant, and was well loved by many people, and usually anyone that knew him, loved him. Danny was a happy person, and enjoyed having a good time. His most cherished time was spent with family at get togethers with all his brothers and sisters, or at the big meal on Saturdays.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jerry Presley.
Danny was a loving husband to his wife Joyce, a loving father to his children, son, Paul Presley, and wife Cori, of Morrisville, and daughter, Dana Meinders, and husband Darin, of Bolivar. He is further survived by eleven grandchildren, Levi Presley, and wife Stormie, Dallas Meinders, Connor Jet, Dawson Meinders, Caiden Jet, Daniel Presley, Lauren Presley, Grace Jet, Joey Presley, Coltin Jet, Christian Jet; one great-granddaughter, Finleigh Jo Presley; brothers and sisters, Ernie and Mary Presley, Mike Presley, Becky Campbell, George and Lanelda Presley, Nancy and Doug McMillen, Leora and Rex Painter, Lois and Kelly Crain, Sally and Bob Jaudes, Herman and Missy Presley; brothers and sisters in law, Charlene Grant, Dick and Edna Durbin, Benton and Barbara Cox, James Cox, Bill and Eula Ghys, Beverly Yates, Anna Lea Griffits, Myrtle Cox, and Dan and Gina Deskins; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
