Darla Fullington's Obituary
Darla Diona Fullington, was born May 14, 1925, in Jackson, Michigan. She departed this life Friday, July 10, 2009, in Hartville Care Center, in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of eighty-four years, one month, and twenty-six days. On November 11, 1978, she was united in marriage to Shirrell Dean Fullington; and together they shared twenty-nine years before his passing on June 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a step-son, Dean Hart. Darla is survived by four step-daughters, Tammy Penia, of Kansas City, Missouri, Bonnie Couch, of Hartville, Missouri, Tracey Batson, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Juanita White, of Houston, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Pam Hart, of Hartville, Missouri; a number of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. She was born in Michigan and later moved to Kansas City, where she met and married Shirrell; they remained there for several years. They then lived in several western states before moving to Hartville sixteen years ago. Darla had made her profession of faith in Christ and faithfully attended the Hartville Church of God. Darla was a kind and caring person with a big heart; she loved spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Graveside services & burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday July 17, 2009 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
