Darlene Hensley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Darlene A. Hensley, 67, of Stoutland, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Mercy Hospital Springfield.
She was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Shreveport, La. to Franklin C. and Frances Pond Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Gaye Pond.
She was raised in Bois d’Arc and graduated from Republic High School. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, she also worked at Hood’s Truck Port for many years.
She was a member of Sleeper United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, William Lakey and his wife, Linda, of Stoutland; Charlie Lakey and his wife, Jennifer, of Laurie, and Tim Lakey, of Bois D’Arc; four daughters, Tammy Pickreign and her husband, Larry, of Verona; Kisha Marie, of Woodsville, Mo.; Sara Yepes, of Stockton and Rebecca Lakey, of the state of Florida; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Pond, of Diane, Texas; two sisters, Joann Pond, of Diane, Texas, and Melanie Pond, of the state of Arizona; also a number of nieces and nephews.
