Darrell Dill (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Darrell Gene Dill, 68 of Buffalo, Missouri passed peacefully at 6:00 a.m. at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri after a bout with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones.
Darrell was born in Greene County, Missouri at St. Johns Hospital on November 1, 1951. He was a maintenance worker at Kraft Foods in Springfield, his favorite work was helping to care for the Riverview-Sweaney Cemetery and woodworking.
Darrell never met a stranger and loved taking his time to talk to people at home, during a visit to the store or golf course.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Louise Dill, brother, Larry Dill and sister Margret Langley. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon; his son Christopher of Seattle, Washington; daughter Rebecca, son-in-law Rodney Harrill of Bolivar, Missouri; two grandchildren, Derrick and Lauren; his sister, Melba Ferrell of Collinsville, Illinois and his many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Cremation rites will be accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri
