Darrell Henry (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Darrell Leon Henry, son of Virgil and Alath Coday Henry was born December 25, 1951 in Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on June 4, 2012 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of sixty years, five months and eighteen days.
He was united in marriage to Debra Kay Wingo in September, 1969 and to this union four sons were born. Later in life he married Denise Linder.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and many other relatives who are already in Heaven with open arms.
He is survived by his wife, Dennie of the home; four sons, Willard(Willie) Henry and wife Tamika of Ava, Missouri, Greg Henry and Tia, David Henry and Amanda and B.J. Henry and Tracey all of Mansfield, Missouri; two step-children, Janie Linder of Mtn. Grove, Missouri and Victor Murray of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; four bothers, Robert Henry and wife Susie of West Plains, Missouri, Jerry Henry and wife Janice, Jack Henry, Ronnie Henry and Angie all of Mansfield, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Lansdown and husband Bob of Rock Port, Missouri and JoAnn Garzee of Mansfield, Missouri; two half-brothers, Don Goss and wife Clare and Charles Goss all of Springfield, Missouri; one half-sister, Barbara Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
Darrell was born in Mansfield and attended Mansfield Schools. He had lived almost his entire life here except for living in Ava the last few years. He was a carpenter and in his spare time he enjoyed squirrel hunting and working on small engines.
Darrell will be missed by his family and many friends.
