David Box's Obituary
David M. Box, son of Cleason and Goldie Blevins Box, was born July 6, 1941, in Wright County, Missouri, and departed this life suddenly on April 17, 2011, on his parents? farm near Hartville, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, nine months and eleven days. On December 6, 1961, he was united in marriage to Louise Duggan and to this union two children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his wife, Louise of the home; a son, Allen Box and his wife, Julie, of Diggins, Missouri; a daughter, Angela Box of Hartville, Missouri; a brother, Paul Box and his wife, Linda, of Otterville, Missouri; and a sister, Farrell Ivy, of Ozark, Missouri; as well as several cousins, other relatives and friends. He was raised in Mansfield where he graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1959. He lived his entire life in the Mansfield and Hartville areas. He worked at Mac-a-Mo, Marshfield and York Casket Companies in Marshfield for over 30 years. In his spare time he was a bee keeper, enjoyed quail and coyote hunting and trap shooting with his dad, Cleason. David was a loving husband, father and brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish our memories of him as long as we live.
