He was born in Illinois, but grew up in Mansfield, Missouri where he graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1971. He worked most of his life in the Food Service Industry, owning and operating The Grocery Store in Mansfield and then for many years he owned and operated Champs Pub and Grill in Joplin until his health forced him to retire.
When Dave was younger, he liked to hunt and fish and as he got older his interest turned to golf and bowling. For the last 20 years he has been trying to make an impeccable yard without complete success. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan and was of the Episcopal faith.
Dave loved life, family and many dear friends. We celebrate his life and will fondly remember the many special times we had together.
