David Lee Creech (Bolivar)'s Obituary
David Lee Creech passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 2, 2014 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, MO.
David was born August 20, 1938 in Dinuba County, California to John Mark Creech and Thelma (Walker) Creech.
When he was 6 months old the family moved to the Fair Play area where he lived until he graduated from Fair Play High School.
He was saved as a young man at Campbell Grove Missionary Baptist Church, later joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church then in 1990 moved his membership to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He married Lorraine Melton in 1959 and to this union three children were born. Pamela Kay, Connie JO and Ronald Eugene.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Creech, his step-dad Oral Crawford, step-sister Elizabeth, several aunts and uncles, a brother-in-law Jim Lowry, a niece Linda (Lowry) Mertzbauer, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Charlie and Jewell Melton.
David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine; daughters, Pam Garrison of Nixa, MO and Connie Hoaglin and husband Regie of Nixa, MO; son Ronnie Creech and wife Cindi of Republic, MO. Two granddaughters, Jacklyn Rae and Alex Marie, two step-grandchildren Steven and Lindsey, two step-great grandchildren, Chloe and Emma, a sister-in-law, June Lowry of Kansas City, MO; a niece Karen Lowry of Pensacola, FL, nephew Dennis Lowry and wife Julie and children Janica and Dalton, nephew Justin Mertzbauer and parents Erich and Shar of Kansas City, MO and a host of other family members and many friends.
He loved his church family and music, he played guitar and sang with several groups of family and friends.
