David Eugene Fullington, son of William Marion and Betty Bernice (Williams) Fullington, was born August 25, 1946, in Niangua, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, November 18, 2006, in his home near Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, two months, and twenty-four days. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Carol Ann Fullington. David is survived by one daughter, Amy Colleen Drane, of Rock Falls, Illinois; three sons, David Eugene Fullington Jr., and William Darin Fullington, both of Mansfield, Missouri, and Kevin Leroy Fullington, of Rock Falls, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Carrisa, Alyshia, Kevin, Kayla, Devin, Dylan, Nick, Brenton, KaLynn, and KeAuna; his mother, Betty Fullington, and his sister, Janet Fullington, both of Mansfield, Missouri; a niece, Danielle Greene and her husband Steve, of St. Augustine, Florida; and a nephew, Brian Keith Lowe, of Marshfield, Missouri. David spent most of his life in Webster and Wright Counties, and he also traveled with his job as a carpenter. He was a member of the Musicians Union as well as the Carpenters Union. David had a passion for music and had formed his own country music band. He spent most of his free time writing country music songs, playing the piano, and his guitar, as well as several other musical instruments. He was a very outgoing person, and devoted much of his time doing music benefits for families in need. He was well liked by everyone who knew him, but perhaps what most defined his life was the love that he had for his family and friends. David was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery, North of Seymour. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
