David Gaylord (Bolivar)'s Obituary
David Mathew Gaylord, age 87 of Bolivar, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
He was born on July 8, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Fred Kenneth Gaylord and Mary Ursula (Layton) Gaylord.
David was a career military man serving 22 years active and 8 years inactive in the United Stated Marine Corps. He served his country during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a scuba diving instructor and the President of the Aqua Marines. David was a member of the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Bolivar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ursula, his brother Fred Kenneth Gaylord, and two children, Rena Marie Chambers and Thomas Patrick Wigton.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Gaylord of the home, eight children, Cynthia Arney and her husband Tom of Creswell, Oregon, Julia Galkin and her husband Daniel of Lake Forest, California, Ronald Gaylord and his wife Claudia of Fair Play, Missouri, Jeanie Gaylord of Creswell, Oregon, Susan Rodriquez of Corona, California, Arthur Francis Hatch III of Redmond, Oregon, Kathy Purdy, of Springfield, Missouri, Patti Amaral, of Santa Anna, California, his brother, Gerald Gaylord of New Mexico, and an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
