David A. Hough (Lebanon)'s Obituary
David Arval Hough, son of A. Arval and Ruby Manes Hough, was born May 16, 1940, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Advent Hospice, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, at the age of eighty-one years, one month, and ten days.
He was united in marriage to Pat Biggs, and to this union one son was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bob Hough; and a sister, Nancy Rensema.
David is survived by a son, Michael Hough, of the State of South Carolina; a grandson, Justin Hough of the state of Florida; a niece, Kelly Hicks of Lebanon, Missouri; and several other nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in California and then moved back to Lebanon with his family where he graduated from Lebanon High School. He then studied at Missouri State University in Springfield. He was a successful businessman and was a regional manager over six states for the Montgomery Ward Company. He and Pat founded Air Vac as well as Zemp Tire Service in Fulton, Missouri. Since 1981, he had made his home in Florida.
He loved competition and especially formula racing. He was a member of the Porsche Club for several years.
David will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
