David Allen Lynch (Seymour)'s Obituary
David Allen Lynch, beloved husband of Patricia Ann Lynch, unexpectedly departed this life Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. He was fifty-two years, seven months and eight days young.
David was born October 26, 1961, in Houston, Missouri, to Forest Lynch and Doris (Lathrom) Rogers. He was raised, attended school and spent his years in Seymour with his father and stepmother, Vi Lynch. On June 27, 1992, David wed his sweetheart, Patricia Ann Vaught, and then moved to Willow Springs to build a home and start a family. To this union, a son and daughter were born and quickly became the center of his world.
In his younger years, David was very active in motor cross and later became an avid NASCAR fan. He loved hunting, especially deer hunting with his son. He and Patricia were members of the First General Baptist Church of Willow Springs.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2007; his mother in 2006; and his brother, Larry Dwayne Lynch.
David leaves behind his wife of nearly twenty-two years, Patricia Ann, son David Stetson Lynch, and daughter Kristen Amber Lynch, all of the home in Willow Springs; brother and best friend, Arthur Rogers and his wife Norma, of Hartville; sister, Brenda Gammon of Cabool; stepmother, Vina Lynch of Seymour; special cousins, Bill Volner of Rogersville and Bobby Volner of Springfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; and a host of friends and neighbors.
David was a devoted husband, an adoring father and a loyal brother and friend. He will be remembered as a Dad who loved his kids more than life itself. Though his time here with us was much too brief, his big-heart, kind soul and generous ways created a lifetime of memories and moments for his family and friends that will be cherished forever. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
