David E. Moyle, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
David Elmer Moyle, Jr., son of David Elmer Moyle, Sr. and Anna P. Brown Moyle, was born January 19, 1953, in Providence, Rhode Island. He departed this life Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, one month, and twelve days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Moyle.
David is survived by his fiancée, Debbie Stubbs, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; three daughters, Annie Moyle, and Mary Jo Moyle, both of the State of Alaska, and Jennifer Moyle, and her fiancé, Ephraim Cintron, of Milton, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Daniel Moyle, and his wife, Joyce, of Holcomb, Missouri, and Michael Moyle, and his wife, Vicky, of Sunbury, Pennsylvania; a sister, Cindy Mitchell, and her husband, Mitch, of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Rhode Island, and then moved to Sunbury, Pennsylvania, where he attended high school. He entered the military as a young man, and faithfully served his country in the United States Army from March 10, 1970, until being honorably discharged on March 1, 1973. He served during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Germany for part of that time. After his time in the military, he returned to Pennsylvania where he worked as a truck driver for North American Van Lines until retiring in 2010. He eventually came to Missouri and made his home near Phillipsburg, Missouri.
In his spare time he enjoyed going to tractor pulls, and liked partying with his friends and family. He was very patriotic and loved his country. His family was important to him.
David was a loving fiancé, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
