David Scott Sims (Bolivar)'s Obituary
David Scott Sims, age 27, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday evening, September 27, 2010 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born March 19, 1983 in Berryville, Arkansas to Jerry J. Sims, Sr. and Christina L. Allen.
He was a Self-employed Contract Floor Installer since 2001. He graduated from Bolivar High School in 2001 and loved motocross plus his music.
David is survived by his mother and step-father, Christina and Rick Allen of Bolivar, Missouri, his father and step-mother, Jerry & Tamala Sims of Green Forest, Arkansas, two sons, Deagan Scott Sims and Izik Dain Sims both of Ogden, Kansas, one brother, Aaron Blake Allen of Bolivar, Missouri, one sister, Lacy Renea Sims of Bolivar, Missouri, his grandparents, Nancy Jane Day of Bolivar, Missouri, Ed & Ildah Gerlick of Jenkins, Missouri, his niece, Ariel Miles of Bolivar, Missouri and a nephew, Seth Jenkins of Bolivar, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Pete Davidson officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the services on Thursday. Burial of David’s cremains will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri at a later date.
