DeAnna Herrington (Bolivar)'s Obituary
DeAnna Marie (Bradshaw) Herrington was born on June 10, 1940, to John and Leota Bradshaw in their country home in Davies County, Iowa. DeAnna’s life was centered around her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and an avid gardener who took great pride in caring for those she loved. Her home was always filled with the warmth of home-cooked meals, with favorites including goulash, fried chicken, and her well-known rolls. Her beautiful gardens will be deeply missed. She especially cherished the summer months, when her yard came alive with fresh vegetables, flowers, and thoughtfully designed walkways and wishing wells. She had a special gift for creating welcoming and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leota Bradshaw; her brother, Larry Bradshaw; and her son, Gregory Glasgow. DeAnna is lovingly remembered by her sister, Janet Reeves; her daughter, Georgia (David) Jarboe; her sons, Gavin Glasgow and Damon Glasgow; and her daughter, Michelle Kelley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews, and 2 nieces. A celebration of life will be held at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri, on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to CMH Hospice in DeAnna's honor.
