Deborah Mellon's Obituary
Miss Deborah Marguerite Mellon, age 60, of Walnut Grove, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at her home after a sudden illness. She was born April 14, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri to Edward James Mellon and Verla Louise Rose Mellon. Deborah worked in housekeeping at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for 30 years before retirement. She was a member of the Dadeville Baptist Church in Dadeville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Dennis Gott, Michael Gott and two sisters; Loretta Mellon and Kathleen Mellon. Deborah is survived by her two sisters; Shirley J. Edison and her husband Linden on Walnut Grove, Missouri, Mary Shephard and her husband Jerry of Springfield, Missouri and a brother; Max Gott and his wife Grace of Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Dadeville Baptist Church in Dadeville, Missouri with Reverend Mike Tull officiating under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri. A private burial of Deborah’s will take place at Yeckley Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
