My deepest sympathy to all of Debbie's family. She was my dear friend and i will miss her dear smile, sharing our concerns and joys and enjoying her presence. Debbie and I worked together at WINGS many years and a dear friendship developed. Debbie was always ready to help everyone and gave her beat to students and staff on a daily basis.
I have never know a more intelligent, talented, creative person. I often told her I thought there was nothing she couldn't do and she would reply "I can't work on cars".....I always believed she could probably do that too!
Debbie was happiest when she was sharing her talents with others....whether it be cooking one of her special dishes that you especially loved or sharing a carving, drawing or creation she thought you would enjoy!
I have many things in my home made by her creative hand (Christmas ornaments, lanterns, carvings). I have many wonderful recipes and my most cherished item is a handmade cradle she made for my grandson with his name carved into it. She also made him a portable closing sandbox for playing with his hotwheel cars. She created the idea and brought it to life.......he enjoyed many hours of play and these items will be handed down to his children some day.
Debbie leaves a beautiful legacy of life lived for others, her husband, sons, grandchildren, family and those of us lucky enough to call her our friend. Rest in peace my dear friend you will be greatly missed by your loving family and friends.
What a wonderful woman who was so full of life. Her dedication to her family was shown in many ways. She was a proud supporter of our Gifted Program and her lovely grandchild Bella. She was generous to all our fund raising projects and is a founding member our our annual Trivia Night hosted each year. She will be missed.

Because your parents shopped at 179 I had the privilege of checking them out. I visited with them and got to know them. They were a pleasure to know.
I have some special memories of my Aunt Debbie. One of my favorites was when I was ten years old. My dad (Randy) was taking all four of us kids to Colorado to go camping with Debbie's sisters Judy and Sheryl. Debbie was not able to go but knew the journey would be long all the way to Colorado, so she put together a goody bag for each of us kids! It was filled with coloring books, crayons, comic books, books, and other fun knick knacks in a bag with our names painted on them. Coming from a larger family, it was rare to ever have our own belongings, where we weren't expected to share with each other. It meant a lot to me then and even more now. I still have some of the knick knacks from that goody bag and I'm thirty two! Aunt Debbie will be missed! She always used her artistic skills and creativity to show people how to think out of the box and to serve others who needed the help. May you rest in peace, Aunt Debbie.
So sorry for your families loss of this lovely lady! Our love and prayers are with you all!
