Debra Lynn Gifford, age 61, passed away on December 23, 2017 at Citizens Memorial Health Care Facility surrounded by her family.
Debbie is survived by her husband John Gifford and their 3 daughters Jennifer and Rick Earl, Kristy and Harry Beck, Kimberly and Al Cornell; her grandchildren, Jacob Earl, Todd and Jessie Earl, Alyssa Beck, Trey Jenkins, Nathan Beck, Kody Jenkins, Lane Beck, Gavin Cornell and Madison Cornell; her great-grandchildren, Hayden Earl, Xavier Earl, Grayson Rash, Owen Earl and Hadley Earl; her sisters Kathy and John Murdock and Ann Gifford; her brothers, Tim and Alice Gifford, Gene Potts and Bobby Bolen; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Potts and Thelma Potts; her mother and father in law, Clyde and Mildred Gifford; one sister, Brenda (Potts) Walters; one brother, Robert Leo Potts; her grandmothers, Dorothy (Potts) Bell and Virgie Kates; one niece, Diana Jones.
Debbie was born on December 30, 1955. She was saved when she was 12 years old and was a member at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to John on November 10, 1972. Debbie was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. All of her grandkids affectionately called her Gran and she loved nothing more than to see them smile as well as attending all of their school and sports activities. She loved spending time with her family and friends, doing crafts and going out to dinner. Debbie had many special friends and was always surrounded by the ones she loved.
