Debra Guinn (Hartville)'s Obituary
Debra Lee Guinn, daughter of Robert Michael and Betty Deloris Rinacke Altheide, was born January 3, 1958 in Junction City, Kansas. She departed this life Saturday, November 17, 2012 in her home, in Isabella, Missouri, at the age of fifty-four years, ten months, and fourteen days.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Deloris Altheide; and a sister, Cathy Altheide.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; children, Janell Sheets and husband Roy of Grovespring, Missouri, Sandy Guinn of Independence, Missouri, Holly Nash and husband Tommy of Odessa, Missouri, Seana Ward of Overland Park, Kansas, and Angel Jenkins and husband David of Odessa, Missouri; grandchildren, Amanda Vandergrift, Justin Moncier, Kyron Stillwell, Kameron Stillwell, MIkayla Stillwell, Daniel Ward, Joseph Ward, Clayton Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins, and Easton Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kyanne Stillwell; her father, Robert Altheide of Sibley, Missouri; two sisters Kay Smith and husband Walt of Sibley, Missouri and Maria Altheide of Sibley, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Harold Guinn and wife Jean of Springfield, Missouri and Darrell Guinn and wife Laura of Wheatland, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kay Earls and husband Buck of Conway, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Debra was born in Junction City, Kansas and attended Fort Osage High School in Missouri. She attended Beauty School and owned and operated her own shop “Debra’s Cut and Style, in Buckner, Missouri, for several years. She entered into asphalt construction and was a member of the Operators 101 Union for several years. Later in life she attended Wentworth College and studied Psychology.
Debra and Jerry moved to Isabella in 2010 following Jerry’s retirement, to make their home. In her spare time, Debra enjoyed scrapbooking, playing bingo, fishing, boat rides, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Debra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
