Debra Whipple (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Debra Eugenie Whipple, daughter of Ronald Eugene and Marjorie Darlene Phillips Sherrer, was born May 3, 1957, in Buffalo, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, December 16, 2014, in Buffalo Prairie Care Center, in Buffalo, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years, seven months, and thirteen days.
In 1981, she was united in marriage to Monte Doyle Whipple, and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Debra is survived by two sons, Shaun Whipple, and his wife, Tracie, of Conway, Missouri, and Michael Whipple, of Tunas, Missouri; her mother, Darlene Sherrer, of Long Lane, Missouri; a brother, Doyle Sherrer, and his wife, Raya, of Lebanon, Missouri; a nephew, Kris Sherrer, and his wife, Kathy, of Stoutland, Missouri; a niece, Crystal Newman, and her husband, John, of Fort Benning, Alabama; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Sleeper and Stoutland area, and graduated from Stoutland High School in the Class of 1975. She then began working for the H. D. Lee Company in Lebanon, where she was a thread clip inspector until 1983. Throughout the years, Debra was also a devoted homemaker to her family.
Debra had professed her faith in Christ and attended Sleeper Pentecostal Church.
In her spare time she enjoyed working in her garden where she grew beautiful flowers and tomatoes. She also liked to go to yard sales and to do crossword puzzles. Her family was very important to her and she loved family gatherings.
Debra was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cedar Ridge Cemetery, and left at the funeral home.
