Debra Zimmerman's Obituary
Debra Sue Zimmerman, daughter of Billy Ray and Glenda Sue (Harding) Crandall, was born October 9, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, October 30, 2009, in Cox Walnut Lawn, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years, and twenty-one days. In 1985 she was united in marriage to Thomas Ray Zimmerman and to this union two sons were born. Her mother preceded her in death. Debbie is survived by her sons, Justin Zimmerman and his girlfriend, Heather Mincks, and Cody Zimmerman and his girlfriend, Tracy Roderick, all of Seymour, Missouri; a grandson, Collin Zimmerman, of Seymour, Missouri; her father, Bill Crandall, of Seymour, Missouri; a brother, Donnie Crandall, and his wife, Linda, of Seymour, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; a number of aunts and uncles; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. She moved to Seymour in 1972 and graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1983, she remained in Seymour most of her life. She was a clerk at United Healthcare and had also worked as a tax preparer at Reynolds & Company in Seymour and Rogersville and Darrah, Inc. in Seymour and Mountain Grove. Debbie had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Seymour First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and had a special bond with her grandson. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting and playing tennis. Debbie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 2, 2009 in the Goss Cemetery. Visitation is Monday evening 7:30- 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Seymour, Missouri. Return to top
