Delbert C. White (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Delbert Clifford White of Springfield, Missouri was born on March 14, 1930, in March, Missouri. He passed away in his home on January 12, 2020.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Helen Skinner (Elkland) on February 5, 1954. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Before retiring he worked as a meat cutter for almost 40 years.
Clifford had a love for music and he and Ruth formed their own band many years ago and sang throughout their lives together. They were the perfect couple and shared a love that will never end. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He had an infectious smile that made everyone want to be around him, and was loved by everyone that knew him.
He was proceeded in death by his father and mother, Harden and Elizabeth White; seven brothers, Robert, Herbert, Elbert, Hubert, Bill, Floyd, and Leroy; three sisters, Marie Weeks, Pauline Robie, and Lorene Hildebrand; and a granddaughter, Carrie Elizabeth Floyd.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Helen (of the home); two Daughters, Diana and husband Jerry Grace of Springfield, Rena’ and husband Randy Floyd of Marshfield, Missouri; two sons, Eugene and daughter-in-law Kerri of Diggins, Missouri, and Danny of Springfield; four grandsons, Brian and Rhonda Floyd of Marshfield, Matthew and Bekah Floyd of Marshfield, Tyler of Elk Grove, California, and Brandon of Diggins; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kiersten, Levi, and Tessa, all of Marshfield, along with many other relatives and friends.
No services scheduled at this time. Cremation is entrusted in the care of Cantlon Otterness & Viets funeral home in Buffalo.
