Della was born in Norwood and spent most of her life in Wright County. Following her retirement, Della spent time at home with her family and working in her garden.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Hartville Freewill Baptist Church where she taught youth Sunday school for many years.
Della had been a member of the Hartville Garden Club since 1954, and served as Treasurer for many years. The annual lighting of the Christmas nativity scene was an event very near and dear to her.
In her spare time, Della enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, gardening and tending to her roses, cooking, embroidering, quilting, and collecting dolls and trinket boxes.
Della was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure each moment and every wonderful memory she created for her family and friends.
