Della I. Mobley (Hartville)'s Obituary
Della Irene Mobley, daughter of D.N. and Ethel Copeland Mobley, was born August 3, 1942 in San Diego, California. She departed this earthly life Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Mercy hospital in Springfield, at the age of seventy-four years, six months, and thirteen days.
Della is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Russell Nobles; a sister, Mary Jackson; and three brothers, Arthur Mobley, Danny Mobley, and Charles Mobley.
She is survived by her two children, Donna Weatherly and her husband Russell from Frisco, Texas, and Scott Nobles and his wife Dora from Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Shirley Coday and her husband Darrell from Mansfield, Missouri, Caroline Moore and her husband Jimmy from Hartville, Missouri, and Melody Caswell and her husband Lyle from Seymour, Missouri; six grandchildren, Rebekah Gilmore and her husband Jason, Matthew Weatherly and his wife Tammy, Jacquelyn Torres and her husband Jonathan, Russell Nobles, Christina Olson and her husband R.J. , and Laura Nobles; three great-grandchildren, Novliee and Sydney Weatherly, and Melody Olson who is on the way; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Della was born in San Diego California, but quickly moved while she was young to Seymour, Texas where she was raised most of her young life. While she was still at a young age, she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and later moved to Missouri where she spent the last forty years of her life.
Della was active in the Hartville Senior Citizens group and she rode the OATS bus every week. She loved to sew, and quilt having put together many quilts to keep her family warm. Della enjoyed painting and always had a book she was reading. She loved her family very much and enjoyed their company, especially those “trips” her and her sisters went on.
Della was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. We celebrate her life and many accomplishments and will always cherish the many wonderful memories she helped create.
