Dennis D. Jones (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Dennis Jones, son of Robert & Clara Abel, was born in Goodland, Kansas on July 26, 1950, and departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at his home in Louisburg, Missouri. He was at the time of his passing 72 years of age.
Dennis was a graduate of the Nettleton Business College and would go on to have a successful career of 30 years as an accountant with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Dennis loved to fish and camp, but he also enjoyed hunting and gardening. He also loved to visit the casino with his family occasionally. Although Dennis accomplished much and enjoyed many hobbies, he valued his family above all else. Dennis was a very selfless person and always put others needs before his own.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Robert Abel; and one sister, Susan Schiman. He is survived by his mother, Clara Abel of Louisburg, Missouri; three sisters, Diana Gable of Buffalo, Missouri, Vickie Brinkman of Buffalo, Missouri, and Tara Gardner & husband Mark of Elkland, Missouri; one brother, Patrick Abel & wife Kolette of Phoenix, Arizona; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He dearly loved his three kitties, Mama, Lucy Lou, and Buddy. Dennis is loved and will be dearly missed.
Graveside services for Dennis will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in the Louisburg Cemetery in Louisburg, Missouri.
