Dennis Rupp (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Dennis James Rupp was born in Hannibal, Missouri on May 30, 1951, to Bernard ‘Bucky” and Helen Spear Rupp. He graduated from Hannibal High School.
He married Phyllis Edwards on January 5, 1980. They shared 45 years together.
Dennis started working at National Food Grocery Store while still in high school. He then co-owned Fountain Court Nursing Home with his wife, Phyllis. He then became employed at OATS as a driver for the last 15 years of his life.
He belonged to the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses all his life.
He enjoyed crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and watching sports, especially football. He also loved going on vacations and spending time with family and friends. Dennis will be remembered for his humor, generosity and his loyalty to those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bucky and Helen and sister, Cheryl.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Brandi and husband Chris Tanner of Tinley Park, IL, Brandon Rupp and wife Cynthia of Yorkville, IL; stepdaughters, Tammy and husband Teddy Pringle of Aldrich, MO and Kelly and husband Bill Mattice of Colorado Springs. CO; grandchildren: Shaunasee, Kyler, Brayln, Cassidy, Kellen, Kaden, Tyler, Sawyer and Edan; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Reagan; sister, Debbie and husband Donnie Hymers of Corpus Christi, TX and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1451 South Main Street, Troy Mo. Chris Yarbrough will officiate.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
