Denzil Lee Taylor (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Denzil Lee Taylor was born on July 28, 1938. He passed on March 31, 2024. He married Peggy Sue Spittler on December 26, 1958, they were married for 65 years. He loved hunting, fishing, gigging, and noodling. He loved dancing and listening to bluegrass music, but most of all, spending as much time as he could with his family (especially the littles) and friends. He had a long and happy 85 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lula Belle, father Willis, three sisters; Juanita Waterman of Muskegon, Michigan, Helen Whipple of Tunas, Missouri, and Hazel Garrison also of Tunas, three brothers; Guy who passed at six months of age, Clifford of Clinton, Missouri, Jim of Springfield, Missouri, and one son-in-law, David Reed of Camdenton, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Sue Taylor of Pittsburg, Missouri, three children: Teresa Reed of Camdenton, Missouri, Veronica Eidson and husband John David of Camdenton, Missouri, and son Niki Taylor and wife Andrea of Owasso, Oklahoma. Eight grandchildren; Quenten Reed and wife Roxy of Osage Beach, Missouri, Travis Brown and wife Heather of Linn Creek, Missouri, Crystal Wildman and husband Zach of Branson, Missouri, Brittany Pendleton and husband Derek of Linn Creek, Missouri, Kellie Schuman and husband Lee of Osage Beach, Missouri, Tyler Eidson and wife Amber of Macks Creek, Missouri, Aaron Curtis of Owasso, Oklahoma, Aiden Curtis of Owasso, Oklahoma, Sister-in-law Patsy Harrington of Lebanon, Missouri, one brother-in-law Ronald Spittler of Buffalo, Missouri, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a lifetime of many good friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, visitation from 12-2 p.m. and formal funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Mike Moore officiating, burial will follow at Scrivener Cemetery near Windyville, Missouri. Funeral escorts are his grandsons, Quenten, Travis, Tyler, Derek, Zach, Lee, Aaron, and Aiden.
