Derek J. Taylor (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Derek James Taylor, age 32, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday afternoon at 3:33pm on November 5, 2012 in Northwood Hills Care Center at Humansville, Missouri.
He was born June 3, 1980 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of James Rowland Taylor and Linda (Stockstill) Gilchrist.
He was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church and graduated from Bolivar High School in the Class of 1998.
Derek was preceded in death by his grandparents, Neil Stockstill and Floyd & Neta Faye Taylor, and his stepfather, Ralph Gilchrist.
Derek is survived by his son, Lane Tristan Taylor and his mother, Kayla Dutra and Lane’s grandparents, David & Connie Tindle of Bolivar, Missouri, his mother, Linda Gilchrist of Bolivar, Missouri, his father and stepmother, James & Debbie Taylor of Bolivar, Missouri, one brother, Bruce Hood and his wife Tonna of Bolivar, Missouri, one sister, Kim Trobisch and her husband Stephen of Bolivar, Missouri, three stepsisters, Laurie Gilchrist of Macon, Missouri, Angela David and her husband T.C. of Willard, Missouri, Kara Bortner and her husband Stephen of Republic, Missouri, three stepbrothers, David Gilchrist of Bolivar, Missouri, Jeff Gilchrist of Austin, Texas, Nick Edelman and his wife Karena of Camdenton, Missouri, his grandmother, Irma Stockstill of Bolivar, Missouri, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
