Derry Lyle Pierce (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Derry Lyle Pierce was born March 20, 1948 to Clifford and Lois (Burtin) Pierce and passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the Webco Manor in Marshfield, Missouri.
Derry was raised in Long Lane, Missouri. He was a Buffalo High School graduate. He married Judy Glain Williams of Louisburg, Missouri. Derry worked decades at Hubert’s Ford Motor Co. in Urbana, Missouri. He then worked until his retirement for Friendly Ford in Springfield, Missouri. Later he worked many years with J.R. Harrison moving houses. He loved the outdoors, shooting his guns, and loved fixing things. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends. Derry will be deeply missed.
Derry was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lois Pierce and a daughter, Sandy Pierce Hoagland. He is survived by one son, Jason Jones of Urbana, Missouri; one daughter, Stacey Pierce of Marshfield, Missouri; one brother, Gary Pierce of Long Lane, Missouri; a sister, Sherry Blecher and husband Ronnie of Macks Creek, Missouri; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
