Diana A. Lee (Seymour)'s Obituary
Diana Anita Lee, daughter of Gene and Nancy Lee was born May 31, 1964 in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life into the arms of Jesus on October 13, 2016 at the age of 52 years. She grew up on the family farm at Ava. She attended school at Ava, Missouri where she enjoyed playing sports and as her children grew she coached little league teams at the YMCA in Mountain Grove.
She is preceded in death by her son Paul B. Lee and grandson Logan Lee.
Diana is survived by her daughter Natasha and husband Joshua Harris; mother and father Nancy and Gene Lee; her grandchildren Cameron Lee, Madyson and Hagan Lee; Cole and Bentley Lee and soon to be born Ruby Harris; brothers Rick Lee and Donnie Lee; sisters Pam Ragon, Rita Chapman, Debbie Walker, Loretta Cameron and Lisa Cooper and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Diana had a special gift with children. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and they shared a special bond.
Diana grew up attending Mansfield Assembly of God Church and gave her life to Jesus at an early age. She was currently attending Ash Grove Assembly of God Church. She recently recommitted her life to the Lord. The family sees this as a blessing because we know that she is now with Jesus. As an adult Diana had many struggles in her life especially with depression and addiction, but she never lost her faith in the Lord. She would faithfully watch Jimmy Swaggart every day.
There were many people who were very helpful in Diana’s life journey. We want to say a special thanks to Teen Challenge of the Ozarks, Beth Carroll and Don Landers from the Assemblies of God Headquarters where she was employed for a few years and the many pastors that ministered to her throughout her life. Most importantly we want to acknowledge her sister Loretta who always stepped in during every crisis.
